Artifact 5- Word Brochure
This artifact consists of a brochure that I created that I would share with parents and teachers to show the kinds of technologies I would use with deaf or hard of hearing students in my classroom. Each fold of the brochure includes the name, a photo and a description of how the technology works and would be used with a student in my classroom.

ISTE-S 5:
The student would achieve this standard by solving a personal issue by finding a technological solution. The student could use a testing method to find out which technological solution works best for their needs. The student can begin to help others, including a teacher, understand the need by advocating for themselves.
ISTE-E Learner 1.0
I would meet this standard by continuing to learn about proven technologies that enhance the learning of deaf or hard of hearing students in my classroom. Throughout this project, I was able to learn about technologies that I had never heard about before. I can use these technologies and others out there to improve the education of my students and help them achieve their own learning goals.
CEC-IGC.5.S25
During this project, I learned how I would use different technologies that help bridge the communication gap to my students who are deaf or hard of hearing. I also learned how each of the technologies work, therefore i would be able to effectively select and use each of these technologies to benefit the different needs of my students.
InTASC #5
By allowing my students the opportunity to have interpretation or hearing enhancement options, I am supporting a positive classroom interaction. Any of the devices listed in the brochure above would help a deaf or hard of hearing student in my classroom to be able to participate and follow along with peers better as the lesson progresses. Having these kinds of things available in my classroom might also encourage some motivation from those students so that they can meet educational goals by actively participating in classroom learning.
