Artifact 2- SMART Board Presentation

This project required collaboration with another peer. The first step was for her and I to pick a lesson that we wanted to adapt and then to find an already created SMART board presentation to aid us in our presentation. After we did so, we met outside of class a couple times to divide up the project and practice the finished presentation before presenting in class.

This artifact consists of a presentation made with a partner using the SMART Board technologies notebook. In this project, my partner and I adapted a lesson from the UDL exchange website and an already created SMART Board presentation to create our own mini lesson.

While the functions of the presentation do not work, click on the image to the left to view our final product presentation. The document below also shows how we created our shortened lesson plan.

ISTE-S 7:

Students will achieve this standard by collaborating with a partner or group to create a custom lesson. Students will also be using digital tools that may be new to them to create the end product. To achieve this standard, students must also work effectively in a group learning environment.

ISTE-E 4:

I achieved this standard through the process of collaboration. A fellow peer and I worked together on this project to make the best final product possible. In doing so, we also shared different ideas and resources for each other to use throughout the totality of the project.

InTASC Principle #10

I was able to create this lesson with the help of a fellow peer. By doing so, I created a colleague relationship that will help me foster further learning opportunities for my students. Having good relationships with other peers and colleagues will also help me to further my own education and learn from others' experiences.
